Dr. Samuel D. Kang, DMD

Samuel D. Kang, DMD is a proud Chicago native who earned both his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a three-year advanced prosthodontics residency at UIC, specializing in esthetics, full-mouth reconstruction, digital dentistry, and implant dentistry. Dr. Kang then pursued an additional year as an Implant Fellow with the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, sponsored by Dentsply Sirona. During this time, he taught prosthetic considerations in implant dentistry to students and oral surgery residents while honing his expertise in complex implant surgical procedures.

As a surgically trained prosthodontist, Dr. Kang provides both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry, allowing him to deliver comprehensive care and achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. He is passionate about staying at the forefront of his field, participating in organizations like the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, Spear Dental Study Club and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Kang also shares his knowledge as a speaker for the Straumann Implant Group.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. On weekends, you can often find them exploring Chicago’s neighborhoods, trying new activities, and keeping the kids entertained with fun family adventures.
